BSQ Magazine (Back Seat Quarterly) was created in June of 2010. The vision of the magazine is to be centered around the ever evolving indie scene and all that follows with it from music to fashion, art, poetry and day to day lifestyle. The name “Back Seat” was given due to the similarity on how the indie scene is viewed compared to the outrageous world of mainstream and all its media thus meaning that mainstream entertainment takes the front seat to everything that is in demand while the indie scene is viewed from more of a “back seat” type of industry. We represent the uprising of the indie scene because we feel this is where real music and other true talented individuals dwell and we take the time to listen with our ears, view with our eyes, mix our thoughts and follow our hearts to give this sub-style of entertainment the appreciation it deserves not forgetting that mainstream has had some major influence on the world of indie lifestyle we just want the world to know the indie scenes star shines just as bright…….even on its own.

We also want to build life long relationships with the talented individuals we come across, our partners, our fans and followers and of course to the people who might not be fans but have strong interest in the things we post and talk about.
