We wanted to give you guys a sneak peak into the world of “Dirty Laundry” a clothing line created by Koran ‘KT’ Tanner. His creative style is one for the books, with sales in the U.S. and the U.K. Koran continues to build his brand and eventually make “Dirty Laundry” a house hold name. We will be developing more stories on Koran in the weeks to come but for now go ahead and read what Koran had to say about how it all started.
Koran Tanner: I came up with Dirty Laundry! in my bedroom when I was 18, I started this brand because I had crazy ideas, the name Dirty Laundry! wasn’t just some name I had in mind, it actually came up when my mother came in yelling at me to clean my room an telling me I need to wash my Dirty Laundry! It took a while for it to really register before I actually took that name, once I had my logo an trademark I then decided to go ahead an show my friends, I produced about 100 shirts in my kitchen on a single press that I made myself took me hours! I gave all those shirts away for free to local friends also to a few local celebs for a little exposure. now I’m getting orders from all over the US to the UK. I’m still a mom & pop brand but I’m just having fun with this watching the Laundry Gang grow. This story will get better!
